Dalian Pro, the Chinese Super League (CSL) side that saw their head coach sacked in January, secured their first win of the season under new boss Lu Zhen on Sunday.

The match against Beijing Guoan was held at the Dalian Yatai Stadium and saw Dalian Pro take the lead early in the second half through a goal from Brazilian striker Victor Campos.

However, the visitors came back to level the score with two goals in the final minutes of regulation time, thanks to strikes from Zhang Ziyang and Wu Lei.

Despite this, Dalian Pro were able to hold on for the win, with goalkeeper Lin Yu making several crucial saves throughout the game.

Lu Zhen took over as Dalian Pro's head coach following the sacking of former manager Luiz Felipe Scolari, who had led the team to three consecutive league titles before being replaced by Dalian Pro's own manager Wang Jun.

With the new regime now in place, it will be interesting to see how they fare in the remainder of the season and whether they can build on this victory against Beijing Guoan.

In the meantime, Dalian Pro fans will no doubt be pleased with their team's performance, which marks a positive start to the season for the club.
